Frequently Asked Questions

How many years of experience does your Principal Facilitator have?

Kate has been in the industry for 10 years, working throughout Asia, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand.

Do you have more than one trainer at The Open Space?

We pride ourselves on high quality and personalised training sessions. The only facilitator fully employed by The Open Space is Kate. The Open Space does, however, have some hand-picked training partners with whom we work across the region. They are able to consisently deliver our key content. All of these parnters run successful training/coaching businesses in their own right.

How many countries have you worked in?

We’ve lead sessions in 16 countries (without a translator). Kate is an Australian with a Singaporean PR. She is based in Singapore, and happy to travel.

What is the profile of your clients?

We’ve worked with graduates in the first week of their career, all the way to top level executives, e.g. the exco board of a Global Bank.

How are sessions structured?

For maximum understanding and information absorption, our sessions are 30% theoretical and 70% practical. Small assignments will be set before, during and after each session.

Is your experience in our company’s industry crucial to the quality of training?

We tailor programs to suit soft skill needs of the delegates and through diagnosis, help fit it to the technical reality that they face. The better we understand our clients’ core business, the more holistically we can work with delegates to create powerful messages and strategies.

What are the sectors you’ve worked with?

We have done extensive work with FMCG, Financial Services, Telco, Advertising, IT, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Insurance and Property clients.
